Wearmin’s Smart Hose Wear Indicator System is designed for use with its FLEXI-WEAR™ rubber and ceramic-lined materials handling hoses. It helps reduce unplanned downtime and maintenance, giving you greater peace of mind.

The system works through a built-in wire coil inside the hose. An interchangeable Wear Indicator Box connects to the hose and monitors its condition. When the inner liner (rubber or ceramic) wears through, the system alerts your maintenance team. Manual units use LED indicators, while digital units send notifications via SMS, email, or phone call. This allows you to plan maintenance ahead of time and avoid unexpected shutdowns or emergency hose replacements.

The Smart Hose Wear Indicator System can be used across different FLEXI-WEAR™ hoses. This flexibility makes it easy to manage multiple hose installations and ensure each one is properly monitored. For hoses with thicker liners, a dual indicator option is available. This provides a second alert after the initial wear point is reached.

The system also helps track wear rates and estimate when a hose may fail. This improves planning and reduces risk. It operates without the need for additional on-site receivers or network connections, as data is sent directly to the cloud. Wearmin offers 4G, satellite, and manual wear box options to suit different site requirements.
