Wearmin’s Smart Hose Wear Indicator System has been designed and are used with Wearmin’s range of FLEXI-WEAR™ Rubber and Ceramic lined Materials Handling Hoses, giving you peace of mind with reduced unplanned down-time and maintenance around your hose installations.

Wearmin’s Hose Wear Indicator System is a uniquely designed remote monitoring system where a wire coil is built into the construction of your FLEXI-WEAR™ Rubber or Ceramic Lined Material handling Hoses and an interchangeable Wear Indicator Box is connected to the hose, to alert your maintenance team via LED lights on our Manual units or SMS/Email/Phone call on our Digital units that a hose inner liner (Rubber or Ceramic) has worn through, allowing for planned maintenance activities which eliminates the risk for unplanned plant shutdowns and unplanned hose replacements.

Wearmin’s Smart Hose Wear Indicator System is interchangeable from one FLEXI-WEAR™ Rubber or Ceramic Lined Material Handling Hoses to another, allowing you to manage your own hose installations to ensure each hose application is covered with our Smart Hose Wear Indicator System. Our FLEXI-WEAR™ Rubber or Ceramic Lined Material handling Hoses can be designed with a dual Smart Hose Wear Indicator Systems allowing for not only one alert when an inner wear liner has worn through, but for a second alert to be sent where extra thick liners are used.

This allows for wear rates to be determined and for suggested hose failure times to be estimated. It gives complete peace of mind. There is no need for additional onsite receiver(s) to be installed at your site or to connect to your network as the options for our Smart Wear Indicator System will transmit information directly to the “cloud”. We have 4G, Satellite and a manual wear box options to suit your needs.
